Moving along in the same line of thought as the last token in this series; deserts often give some of the most unique landscapes and textures that can be found on Earth. Anytime you watch a movie that's depicted in outer space and takes place on different planets, the majority of these scenes are often recorded in various deserts here on Earth. Why? Because they are seriously out of this world!
This location in particular is one you may have seen before, perhaps on the wallpaper of your MacOS device. White Pocket is a small, unique location out in Arizona that offers some of the most incredible views and foregrounds I have ever seen. On top of that, it's also only accessible with a 4WD vehicle since you have to drive along sandy roads for a good chunk of the way there. Which not only makes the journey a blast but also reduces how many tourists there are, making the experience that much more special.
Due to the clear skies that we experienced while at this location, I wanted to create a more dramatic photograph. So I took a sky that I captured later on in California on this trip and composited it into this landscape photograph that I captured during our visit to White Pocket. This addition made that dreamy feeling of this photograph that much more real.
